What does the ITIL 4 Foundation Exam entail?
ITIL is an acronym that stands for Information Technology Infrastructure Library. ITIL v3 Foundation introduced candidates to ITIL’s key elements, concepts, and terminology. AXELOS launched the ITIL 4 Foundation certification level on February 28, 2019. ITIL 4 is the most recent version of ITIL, a standard set of practices that aids organizations in their digital transformation. ITIL 4 is a prerequisite for the completion of the IT services model for the delivery and operation of technology-enabled products and services. IT operations teams can complete larger tasks in business strategy using ITIL concepts.
This exam is an entry-level certification that assesses your general understanding of ITIL concepts and includes key components, concepts, and terminology used in the ITIL service lifecycle. There are 40 questions that you must answer in 60 minutes. To obtain the ITIL Foundation certification, you must correctly answer 65 percent (26 questions) of the questions.
