A total of 180 questions make up the PMP exam. Only 5 of the 180 questions are considered pretest. Pretest questions are used in examinations as an effective and legitimate approach to test the validity of future examination questions without affecting the score. Throughout the exam, all questions are set at random.
It’s possible that you’ll finish the exam in less time than the period given. There are now two 10-minute pauses in the exam for the PMPexam. After you’ve completed questions 1-60 and reviewed all of your answers, the first will appear. After you’ve finished question 120 and confirmed that you’ve gone over all of your answers, the second break will come. Please note that you will not be able to return to the questions from the previous segment of the exam once you have reviewed your answer and begun your break. You will have the remaining given time to complete the remaining portion when you login back in after each break (s). You’ll have 230 minutes to answer 180 questions in total. A tutorial precedes the exam, and a survey follows it, both of which are optional and take 5-15 minutes to complete. The time spent on the tutorial and survey is not factored into the 230-minute examination period.
